For the beta release, any old CUDA toolkit installations must be 
manually removed/uninstalled prior to installing the beta toolkit.  If 
you installed an older CUDA toolkit in the default location 
(/usr/local/cuda), you can remove this installation with the following 
command (as the root user):
rm -rf /usr/local/cuda
